If you are looking for a unique experience, come and check out our Museum of Science and History and all our other attractions.
Here at Mystery Hill, we have all sorts of exhibits and activities to appeal to people of all ages and interests. Even our Museum of Science and History is diverse enough that we are confident it has something for everyone. We are located not too far away from Charlotte, North Carolina, and we offer lodging, shopping, local eateries and a range of activities along with our Museum of Science and History, allowing you to turn a visit to Mystery Hill into a full vacation.
Our Museum of Science and History includes opportunities to touch, play, experiment and learn.
- Hands-on science exhibits: These include Bernoulli floating balls, giant bubbles, optical illusions, a shadow wall, a flying mirror and more. Learn about science by experiencing it for yourself!
- Historic life exhibits: We have artifacts from 19th century life in Appalachia and a “modern” 1903 home from the founder of nearby Appalachian University.
- A large Native American collection: Our collection of Native American artifacts is one of the largest around and gives you a chance to imagine what life was like a long time ago.
If you love science and history, you can’t visit us without making the stop in our gravity vortex in our Mystery House. This gravitational anomaly is unlike anything else you have ever experienced and will keep you amazed as you witness objects rolling uphill and other fascinating occurrences. Whether you are looking for a family vacation destination, a day trip, or learning opportunity, we are confident that you will enjoy our wide range of activities and exhibits. Call today to learn more or to schedule your visit.
