HomeChill at the Hill

Mystery Hill invites you to “Chill at the Hill” during Blowing Rock WinterFest, January 28-31, 2021, a carefully planned mini-celebration with your safety in mind. Join us for the WinterHawk Tournament, a tomahawk throwing competition held each afternoon, followed by a championship round on Saturday to see who will be deemed the WinterHawk Champion for 2021. All events are included with your admission to Mystery Hill.

Check out our other events including the Winter Duck Derby, Pinecone Decorating, Candle Making & more, and be sure to check out the food and fun in downtown Blowing Rock as well.

And of course, no visit to Mystery Hill would be complete without experiencing the Gravitational Anomaly, our brand new Prospector Hill Gem Mining, Bubblerama, Hall of Mystery, Dougherty House Museum, Native American Artifacts Museum and more!

These events will be covered within the Mystery Hill base ticket and above. Winterhawk will be run the same as last year and will need to have a full session to be able to throw in the tournament. We have also set in place Covid Safe protocols for each event including but not limited to sanitization and social distancing as well as all mask protocols.
